The prestigious Sow Academy, in judiciously managing our pupils/students’ time, has, since the commencement of the last academic session, introduced and designed Qur’an memorisation programme (tahfīz) in addition to its Arabic and conventional studies. This programme is basically designed for pupils going to Primary Five to spend that academic year for the memorisation of the Qur’an as far as they can go, and some other major subjects needed for both internal and Common Entrance Examination. This programme will enable them to be caught young as it will prepare ground for their memorisation of the whole Qur’an after which they will sit for their entrance examination.

This implies that by the time their counterparts are in Primary Five which is a revisionary class, they will be in the hostel, memorising the Qur’an, but will join them in Junior Secondary School one. Then, they would continue on part-time basis for those who are interested until they completely memorise the whole Qur’an.

The first set of pupils with whom the programme was launched have successfully and perfectly memorised one-third of the Qur’an (10 juz’s) within that period and they shall continue as previously explained in JSS one until they finish the whole Qur’an.
